In the midst of change, loss and uncertainty, our awareness of what we actually depend upon comes into clearer focus. We may even come to question where God is in in all of this illness, financial loss, and threat to life as we have known it. It is like moving from the secure, stable and sure ground where we have walked most of our lives to the rolling deck of a boat in turbulent water and gusting winds with no land in sight. We will briefly examine how this crisis in its many dimensions affects us emotionally and spiritually and the harbor of peace God is inviting us into.
