About Our Speakers
DAVE JONES
Dave Jones was named President and CEO of The Bowery Mission in 2015. Previously, he enjoyed a 26 year career at KPMG, one of the “big four” global accounting and consulting firms. He served in various roles and retired as a partner in 2010. For six years, Mr. Jones served as a pastor of a nondenominational church in Hopatcong, New Jersey. Since joining The Bowery Mission, the organization has grown tremendously with a renewed focus on its stated goal to be the most effective provider of compassionate care and life transformation for hurting people in New York City. In 2016, Mr. Jones was named one of the “Power 50” most influential leaders in Manhattan.
Tim Brown
Dr. Tim Brown has been with Western Theological Seminary since 1995. In 2008, after 13 years teaching homiletics, he was named President of the seminary. Dr. Brown is a frequent speaker at pastors conferences, college campuses, and church events. He has served on the Reformed Church in America’s Board of Theological Education, the Hope College Board of Trustees, and the executive committee of Words of Hope, a worldwide radio ministry. Dr. Brown recently led Western Seminary through the completion of a $25M capital campaign.
