Director of Marketing

The Director of Marketing and Business Development is responsible for establishing and executing The FOCUS Group’s annual marketing plan, as well as the stewardship of leads and business development opportunities. This leader reports to the COO.

Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus  benefits, including medical, dental and vision, long-term disability, and a 401k plan with employer match.

Results Criteria

Marketing Plan

  • Lead the development of a detailed annual marketing plan that supports TFG’s near-term and long-term growth objectives.
  • Successfully execute the annual marketing plan, leveraging internal and external team members and resources.
  • Measure and evaluate the performance of the marketing plan according to a scorecard.

Business Development

  • Oversee the preparation of high-quality, professional proposals for consultants to present to potential clients.
  • Manage the pipeline of deals to ensure careful and complete stewardship of leads and opportunities.

Conferences and Events
  • Deliver a high-quality annual Major Donor Symposium that enhances the perception of TFG as industry leaders and promotes stronger relationships with its clients and friends.
  • Promote and coordinate TFG’s participation at conferences and online presentations to position TFG consultants as authorities, increase brand recognition and goodwill, and generate leads.

Branding

  • Maintain alignment between the desired TFG “brand” and TFG’s branding and marketing assets and activities in the marketplace.
